Giving something back at Christmas

Corbets Tey School is a facility that is both near, and dear to us at Rosemount. They have around 155 children and young people attending, each of whom have complex learning needs. Since 2007 the school has held ‘Specialist Status in Communication and Interaction’. They are a true centre of excellence, and are well regarded in the local Borough of Havering. The education, care and support they provide is awe-inspiring to us.

There are many ways to support this worthwhile cause – from joining the Parent’s and Friends Association to attending one of their charity events. We’ve been lucky enough to be invited to their annual charity Golf tournament. Something Andy looks forward to all year.

Christmas approaching reminds me of the things for which I am grateful. So it’s lovely to be able to give something back to our community. It feels good too; that our money goes to helping fund facilities at this wonderful school.

We also send a donation every New Year, it’s just a token of our appreciation for all they do in the community. We’ve been doing so as long as we can remember. It’s great to know that you’re helping in some small way, and that your money will be put to such good use.

Christmas is a time for giving after all.
